We ship most less-than-a-truckload orders via FedEx Freight unless an emergency situation calls for dedicated trucking. Orders are shipped the same day if placed by 12:00 PM your local time Monday through Friday. If you whine and are nice to customer service, we may be able to expedite your order. Just so you know, customer service is Laura and Jonathan. They always smile when on the phone. Occasionally they swear after hanging up.
Orders received after 12:00 PM your local time are shipped the next business day. Please note that FedEx Freight does not normally deliver on weekends or holidays, nor are these considered transit days. Transit time varies depending on location and weather, so please allow 2-5 business days for your shipment to arrive.
Clarifications and Restrictions for Less-Than-A-Truckload Non-Dedicated Shipments:
What’s a “day”? Good question! New Deal warehouses are usually closed on weekends and your basic holidays. FedEx Freight for less-than-a-truckload shipments operates according to their published schedules. Thus, when we or they are closed, that’s not a “day”. So “2-day transit” sometimes means 5 days. For example, if you order 3 pallets on the Saturday before New Year’s Eve and Monday is New Year’s Day, that order will ship out on Tuesday, UNLESS we can find a driver that has absolutely no life and is crazy enough to drive through whatever blizzard may be happening and you are willing and able to pay extra for his suffering. You get it. If you forgot to replenish your inventory before a big storm and things are looking tight, contact Laura so she can tell you if you are truly screwed or not. Laura can be reached at 303-459-2500. She does answer her phone.
New Deal does not accept returns unless an error was made by New Deal. And as everyone knows, we have never made a mistake… well maybe once, but that was Dick’s fault because we let him drive the forklift that one time. If a shipping error was made, and you think Dick was responsible, please contact customer service so we can punish him properly.
If you are calling about product benefits, user success stories, product samples, or simply trying to negotiate a sweet deal, Laura is the person to chat with, and she loves to talk. You can also call or email your order directly to her and she will have it taken care of promptly. However, if Laura is on a 900 mile road trip and you need instant gratification, Jonathan would love to hear from you. We do not offer online ordering at the moment, not sure why, but we just don’t.
